How and where can I redeem DGD for physical gold?

DGD tokens cannot be redeemed for physical gold. DGD is the token which DGD holders can use to vote on proposals that are submitted for the growth of the Digix ecosystem, and which offers rewards to holders on the basis of their successful contribution to the Digix Ecosystem.

DGX tokens on the other hand are backed by physical gold on a basis of 1 token to 1 gram of gold. Recasting DGX tokens into physical gold bars in divisions of 100g will cost 1 additional DGX token each. These physical gold bars are held in our custodian vault, The Safe House Singapore.
